Happy Easter! Our Easter Topic: No Fake – Be yourself – A Christian

Today I like to speak to you about being not a Fake – being a Christian!

In all, our purpose in life is to do everything to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

and Matthew 6,33 says:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

In our time we don’t have many Christians who live that way. But we have to! Our Lord warns us:

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [a]dead? James 2, 19-20

The Heavens declare the glory of God and we should too!

Let us talk this Corona Easter to our friends, neighbours, family members to the people who we meet during our walk about Jesus Christ, that is our greatest gift to give!

It is our job to share this treasure with others!

Shalom and a blessed Easter. Your Christian Pälchen

During a pandemic, Isaac Newton had to work from home, too. He used the time wisely.

During the Great Plague of London Isaac Newton had to spent one year at his parents  home. Cambridge University was closed.

Without his professors to guide him, Newton apparently thrived. The year-plus he spent away was later referred to as his annus mirabilis, the “year of wonders.”

His assistant, John Conduitt explained what happened:

“ … Whilst he was musing in a garden it came into his thought that the same power of gravity (which made an apple fall from the tree to the ground) was not limited to a certain distance from the earth but must extend much farther than was usually thought. ‘Why not as high as the Moon?’ said he to himself..”

In London, a quarter of the population would die of plague from 1665 to 1666. It was one of the last major outbreaks in the 400 years that the Black Death ravaged Europe.

Newton returned to Cambridge in 1667, theories in hand. Within six months, he was made a fellow; two years later, a professor.

So if you’re working or studying from home over the next few weeks, perhaps remember the example Newton set. Having time to muse and experiment in unstructured comfort proved life.

That is also a biblical view of life. In Ephesians 5, 15-17 can we read:

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

So let us read the bible, pray and listen what God shows us. Sometimes is a crises the start of a beautiful new journey, also as a family!

Beside that I am praying that you and I are ambassadors of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us talk to our environment about heaven and hell and what it means to be a biblical Christian.

Welcome to the new fitforfamily mp3 blog: Corona: Some tipps to survive a Corona exit spere better

Welcome to the new fitforfamily mp3 blog

Today you will get some tips on how you as a family can survive a Corona exit spere better.

There is an opportunity in every crisis.

At the beginning, a few everyday tips about Hygene:

– Disinfect the door handles regularly with alcohol – Wash your hands regularly, normal soap is enough.

– Frequently ventilates the rooms, ventilating for 5 minutes (all windows open) is sufficient.

– Use your dishes only once

Other tips to stay physically fit:

Drink a lot and do gymnastic exercises, if possible move around the house have regular meals, if a family member is ill, keep your distance.

So now a few tips on everyday structure:

Pray together at the beginning and end of the day, for each other and for others.

Have fixed stand-up times, homeschooling times, chores etc. A fixed structure helps.

However, there are of course exceptions.

Call your loved ones, skyped (also as home groups) or emailed, create a podcast for your beloved.

Eat good food that tastes good for everyone, sweets also helps. just leave all 5 straight, change time as positive time, as couples enjoy each other in every form … smile

A hug, a smile speaks more than 1000 words!

Play community games together, use motion games with the Wii, read to one another, watch good films, documentaries.

A great Christian resource is the www.hopeproject.com for the daily bible reading combined with a video clip.

What can our daughter / son learn from us?

The other day I saw a mother in church playing the piano, her son sitting next to her focusing on every key that she struck. I could see pride in his eyes. “What a great mom I have.”

As a parent, it is a real blessing to be seen as a model. Every person looks for a role model, desiring recognition, proximity and joy.

“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1
