Of course, it has to be a day where my best friends, my family are together with us. We want to share our special moment with our beloved once. Beside that often Christians and non-Christians think that everything has to be perfect on this special day: The location, the weather, the food, the music…..
It has to be such a great experience for the guests that they should leave the wedding with the thought: Woooow, that is the best wedding I’ve been to 🙂
But, is that the main point of a wedding?
Is it that you and your spouse are dedicating the rest of your lives to each other under God?
If you agree and if you are not married yet, because you thought you need money to get married. Then, you should think about your decision. It can be a great day with paper plates, bring and share food, musicians from the church etc. (It is very easy to do a wedding on a budget)
The main point of a wedding is making a commitment to each other in front of God, your family and friends. That in itself is enough.
This day is so exciting because God has given you a special person who loves you and only YOU!
